Tiny Houses & Rooms for the Homeless

We have been helping the homeless for over a decade with food and clothes to get them through to another day and it isn't enough. Streets of America Homeless Outreach Ministry & Beaufort Lighthouse Mission want to take it to the next level in Missions and Build a Tiny House Community that will give a "Hand Up" to our homeless and not just a "Hand Out".

Help Us Purchase the Land for The (Missions) Tiny House Community

We have been looking at 2 acre pieces of land for the Tiny House & Tiny Room Community for our Homeless. We have noted some area's but we are still looking. Beaufort area is expensive but we wre hoping when we find the right place that the land will be at the right price or a discount could be made for us. A Donation of the Land would be even more of a blessing.

Drilling 2 Well's for the Tiny House & Room Community

We will need fresh Water for the Tiny House & Tiny Room Community for our Homeless to be able to take showers and wash their hands. We will need the Water also for preparing meals and washing dishes and for Laundry that we will help our homeless with. Water is a Neccesity and will cost around $3,000 per Well. This is counting the Pump, Presure Tank, and Pipes with shut off valves

Secuity Fence for surrounding the Tiny House Community

The Tiny House & Tiny Room Community will have to have a Security Fence to keep passers by from coming into the Community. We have to keep a safe environment for our homeless as well as our Volunteer workers. This will be a Gated Community with Rules as well as Safety and Security.

200 amp Electric Pole & Meter and Breaker Box Setup

We will need Electricity to run the Community. We will need these Power Pole set up with also power for the Well Pumps and Security Lighting. We will try and make the lighting for the Tiny Houses and Tiny Rooms Solar Powered. These Tiny area's will only need power for lights. The Tiny House for Family Dwellers will need Minimum Power. Each Tiny Hose and Room will be equipped with a Refrigerator in the case our homeless are Diabetic and need to refrigerate their Insulin. It will also allow the Homeless to keep Cold Water and Drinks available in their Room.
